RestaurAmazônia enables the productive restoration and socioeconomic inclusion of family farmers in the Transamazônica region of Pará. Through technical assistance and improved territorial governance, the initiative promotes low-carbon agriculture with the implementation of agroforestry - with cocoa as its flagship -, combined with sustainable livestock farming and forest conservation.
The project encourages and offers technical assistance so that family farmers in the region have greater access to new technologies and good practices, in addition to investing in business incubation in cooperatives in the region.
Location:
Along the Transamazônica, in Pará, in the municipalities of Novo Repartimento, Pacajá, Anapu and Altamira. Small producers in the region suffer high pressure due to deforestation (arco deforestation).
Goals:

Areas restored with cocoa SAF: 1.5 thousand hectares;

Area under good management practices: 31.5 thousand hectares of pastures + 9 thousand hectares of cocoa.
